Leg Tremor, An Anxious Patient, A Challenging Treatment

Orthostatic tremor (OT) is one of the rare abnormal movement conditions characterized by leg tremors 13-18 Hz upon standing and often diminished walking or sitting. The exact pathophysiology OT still not fully understood, it uncertain whether causes unsteadiness on vice versa. Treatment a tremendous challenge. Medication toxicity with ineffective medications may likely cause distress to patients physicians. Gabapentin, clonazepam, levodopa, pregabalin are among that have been used. We herein report an elderly patient OT, distressed, anxious who improved significantly physiotherapy as adjunct therapy conventional medications.
